Denise Magness, a Fargo native, attended the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo. She has been in the insurance industry since 1981. She joined Warner and Company in 1985. She earned her CPSR designation for both personal and commercial lines in 1992. Denise is the executive vice president and chief operating officer. She also handles human resources, information technology and key personal lines accounts for the organization.
Denise has served as Leadership Chair of the YWCA Capital Campaign in 2004 and 2005. She served on the board of the Business Volunteer Council, was chair of the membership committee and served as president in 2002. She is an active member of Olivet Lutheran Church and the Fargo-Moorhead Chamber. She also served as a loaned executive for United Way campaigns.
